The Onati Socio-Legal Series publishes work within the field of law and society, broadly defined to include any work aiming to understand and analyse law as a set of social institutions, processes, practices or techniques, using any relevant methodologies and approaches from the social sciences and humanities. Each year we publish the most outstanding of our Master’s theses, some research papers, and a number of thematic issues resulting from the Onati Workshops, which are organised and attended by leading scholars from around the world. All papers are peer-reviewed, and may be in any language, but most are in English, Spanish or French.
