Since 1994, we’ve been architecting open-access research networks for scholars to share their research with others to facilitate ideas, working papers, and early-stage innovations to build better research faster.
We’re now very excited to Introduce the SSRN Nursing Research Network (NursingRN). The NursingRN marks the fiftieth SSRN research network launch! Diligently starting in economics and building the repository in social sciences, we’ve successfully grown into other prominent fields to include applied sciences, life sciences, health sciences, humanities, and physical sciences.
Over the years, the SSRN repository has grown substantially. Now, with over 990,00 research papers from more than 430,400 authors, the platform is constantly growing, every day. We’ve added strong product integrations to enhance the SSRN experience. Here are a few examples:
Plum Analytics is a metrics solution. Plum answers questions about the societal impact your paper(s) exhibit on scholarly research.
We’ve added First Look, an online curated warehouse in which journals and other research experts identify the content of interest prior to publication.
Our new citation and reference service launched this past Summer. This new service updates citation counts every day and connects to the CrossRef lookup service.

Some of the most prestigious universities in the world partner with SSRN to showcase early-stage research. Recently, Duke University started its research paper series announcing the Center for International & Global Studies within the SSRN Social Sciences discipline. The Singapore Management University Centre for AI & Data Governance created a legal studies research paper series. The Amsterdam Centre for European Studies research paper series is available now.
