The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Legal Studies Working Paper Series showcases the diverse scholarly interests of the law faculty, including working papers, accepted papers, and selected published papers. While not reflected in this series, members of the law faculty also are prolific book writers, publishing a dozen books in 2008-09. In 2010, the law school moved to its spectacular new home downtown on the Mississippi River, a $42 million renovated U.S. Customs House. The University of Memphis is regularly listed as one of the best values in legal education by PreLaw magazine based on bar passage rate, job placement record, and tuition.
